良舍建筑事务所于2019年在北京开始独立设计实践，2022年搬迁到天津正式成立。事务所的工作范围涵盖建筑、室内、景观和艺术等领域。项目的类型也较为多元，其中包括大型公共建筑、文化空间、商业空间、住宅，以及城市更新类等等。团队在不同类型的设计任务之间保持灵活、流通的创作方式，设计、研究与现场配合往往交替进行。

事务所与天津大学、天津美术学院保持长期合作的关系。深度参与教学与学术交流，包括专题研讨、小型工作坊、设计课题的联合研究等。让团队以及学生在设计研究与实际项目之间建立起更紧密的衔接，互相推进，共同滋养。

事务所认为设计不是对资源的索取，而是对已有条件的再认识。我们不以改造之名，过度消耗；不以创造为由，制造浪费。因此，坚持惜物观，物尽其用，尽量避免资源的浪费。最后，“诚实比一切智谋更好，因为它是智谋的基本条件。”事务所也将保有“诚实”的设计心态，着眼当下，认真地面对眼前的每一块场地、每一个空间、每一个人。

Better Architects began its independent design practice in Beijing in 2019 and officially established its studio in Tianjin in 2022. The studio’s scope covers architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, and art. The studio works on a diverse range of project types, including large public buildings, cultural spaces, commercial spaces, residential projects, and urban renewal transformations. The team maintains a flexible and open approach across different design tasks, with design, research, and on-site coordination often taking place in parallel.The studio maintains a long-term collaboration with Tianjin University and the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, actively participating in teaching and academic exchanges, including thematic seminars, workshops, and joint research on design topics. This collaboration creates a strong connection between design research and real-world practice for both the team and the students, fostering mutual growth and enrichment.

The studio believes that design is not about taking from resources, but about re‑recognizing existing conditions. We do not over‑consume in the name of renovation, nor do we create waste in the name of innovation. Therefore, we hold a philosophy of cherishing resources — making the best use of everything and avoiding unnecessary waste.Finally, “Honesty is better than all wisdom, for it is the foundation of wisdom.” The studio maintains an honest design attitude — focusing on the present and sincerely facing every site, every space, and every person.
