橡木之家—是为一对知天命之年的父母而设计的晚年安居之所，三居室满足了节假日子女协同伴侣归家暂住之用。 实木是本案设计的出发点，也是对生活品质的回归点。所谓回归是指父母年轻的时候结婚置房是从实木组合柜开始的，实木的记忆一直保存在东方人的骨子里。而如今的实木设计已经成为了富裕的象征，在普通的家庭住所当中，其应用已经渐渐被强化木饰面和仿大理石瓷砖等材料所取缔。“仿制”的元素充斥了整个居住环境，实木的全屋应用不仅是对真实生活的追求，更是对当下“速食文化”的正面抗争。
The Oak House — a peaceful home designed for parents in their fifties to enjoy their later years. The three-bedroom layout also accommodates the occasional return of their children and partners during holidays.Solid wood is not only the starting point of this design, but also a return to the essence of living. This idea of “return” comes from the fact that when the parents were young, getting married and furnishing a home began with solid wood cabinets. The memory of wood has always remained deep in the bones of Eastern culture.
Today, solid wood design has become a symbol of wealth. In ordinary homes, its use has gradually been replaced by materials such as wood-veneered laminates and marble-like porcelain tiles. Our living spaces are filled with imitations.The full use of solid wood throughout the home is not only a pursuit of authentic living, but also a quiet resistance against the fast-food culture of our time.
